Once you hit top tier/ level.  Including max tier level.  You see a message that says something like "you cannot gain xp beyond level x"

When you have legendaries to level or seeing some numbers move around it would be nice to have a new field to toggle, a countdown much like the TNL but it counts down and when it hits 0 nothing happens.

So you could set it at 1mil exp, or 2mil exp or 10mil exp or even 100mil xp.
That way you can set a grinding session goal up  'like id like to grind 100k xp today' or 1mil etc

Maybe if you set it up fancy you could have it be a very limited selection but if you meet your goal it gives you a bonus or something or the entire mud a bonus, like if you set your goal for 10mil and you reach it, you get double xp for 10 mins?  Something akin to that.

Either way being able to have a measurable way to know how much xp you're farming each session at max level would be awesome  and more enjoyable

The grind could be made more interesting, we are starting to see more people around and having something to make grinding more interesting would be so helpful for a lot of people.

I'm honestly trying to find reasons to stay on and be active.  I'm one of those people who really like to only have one char, and I easily hit the 'cap' or the 'max' in things.   But having a way to make grinding a little more exciting would be beneficial to people at any skill/playable level.

thumbs up!  I like this idea.
Being able to have two smaller groups or two people of the same group split up and gain xp would be pretty awesome.  You could even have two large groups do the same thing.

not to mention how it would help with 'losing pets' so easily, or losing people in a group so easily.

Would it be possible to allow groups to persist even if you're not in the same room?

I can't tell you how frustrating it is to be teleported away by GMA for example, at exactly the wrong "tick" moment and then poof the group disbands mid-combat etc...

Or if you flee/turn/run/die and the group completely disbands.

It would also allow two people to split up when xping and kill two targets at once without fear of the group breaking up if someone runs too far ahead while you're still stuck fighting.

Just a quality of life change,

What if you could request a quest via telepathy?

tell katha quest request
katha tells you, Please kill a blue song bird! You have 10 minutes to complete this quest. Better hurry!
tell katha quest complete
katha tells you, Ah, I could sense that you killed the wretched a blue song bird.
Katha delivers 50 quest tokens to you
You've earned 175 experience points!

What about quest tiers, too? So start tracking the total number of quests done. And as you hit certain milestones, the quest rewards are permanently higher.

Complete 100 quests = +10% quest tokens per quest completed
Complete 1000 quests = +the ability to quest request via telepathy +10% quest tokens per quest
Complete 5000 quests = The ability to teleport directly to the quest area your quest is in. +10% quest tokens per quest
Complete 10000 quests = Questing no longer has a cooldown. +10% quest tokens per quest.

Loot tables are amazing. Especially if it means once in awhile you'll get something super useful that the whole MUD gets to see that you were lucky enough to get.

I also love the idea of a log in bonus. You log in once per day and get a small bonus. Log in all 7 days of a week and you get a huge bonus. Log in all 30 days of the month? A blood soaked crystalline, and maybe a MUD-wide XP bonus/buff to let people know you're dedicated to the MUD. (and encourage them to do the same!)

Also the "power quest" idea where it doesn't really have anything to do with your normal quest timer but once per hour (like a PvE version of the blood quest) but has a more powerful mob and lots better rewards/loot. (maybe a super small chance for a legendary drop, since it can only be done once per hour anyway)

Thematically I like the idea of religious ones, but I think it's more useful for new players, and while new players do not always have a religion right away - they have a home town of some sort, so I think it should be tethered to kingdoms if anything.

It mostly boils down to combinations of things - like if a person has to use moxes that only modify a couple of resistances because the moxes with 3 aren't needed, or because of a goofy resistance stat on the race, the -50 might be overkill and 'wastes' 25 of those resistance points, etc. Not everyone's starting from a flat zero, and some races have more wear spots than others.
