Right now you have to have a new char and level them up many people like just having 1-2 all powerful characters so the new players get left out of the 'grouping' exp and dynamic we have come to love and enjoy.


I'd like to be able to unaugment personally there is now ay to 'test out' what you want, so you have to try it and be like dang.. eat the bullet once it's not as good as it sounded or you wanted it to be.

- Currently top geared and leveled players can just continue to grind to level up legendaries with an annoying "you can't recieve any more exp' message everytime you kill something.  (wish xp would stack and you could use it for something like, buying runes, or getting a (1) or (2) or whatever by your name, or even.. be able to downgrade in tier etc.

And besides that just farm legendary mobs, both of those options isn't really fun enough to calculate a 40hr game play week on the mud.

++++ some people have taken the time to master a class just to find out that it's not that good or what you wanted, that's a lot of time and energy wasted and something to address this would greatly increase the likelihood of people coming back and to continue playing.

Seeing a lot of great thoughts and ideas here and glad that people are chiming. Untiering to start from scratch one class at a time does give people something to do and to try more things without having to completely go from scratch.

Honestly recently I've become pretty irritated looking at some kingdom rank and religion ranks of people. People with low hours and low level who are extremely higher in rank then me and don't even play. Just given ranks by friends, was pretty disappointing. So yes I think this is a great idea, and it's quite normal to require a certain amount of playing time.

But you can add -50 per each custom item plus there are all the moxes. How can one not reach perfection in each damtype?

I'd suggest adding a LISTEN skill so you could hear noise from directions.  Sort of like SCAN but you hear noise from a/some/lots of small/medium/large beings/critters to the east/west/up/down.... or something like that.

This sounds pretty good.

I like this idea and it kind of reminds me of the profession idea mentioned elsewhere. It'd be cool to have a blacksmith profession.

RP wise it doesn't make sense to limit who can group with who. I mean people will know people stronger than themselves and will have opportunity to travel with them. Is there a way to allocate exp gained to take into account the difference between the highest and lowest level if we give a bigger range?

These are good ideas. I haven't written it down yet but since there is a thread here. What do you guys think of daily blessings? Every 24 hours when you log in you can request a daily blessing and prizes are random amount of mobs that give double experience and/or gold and random 2-4 next quests give double tokens. Possibility of instant level-up, random rune/token, or gold. It's a nice thing for people that log in every day and to encourage people to log in every day also in order to take advantage of most said rewards it would require at least 45 minutes of playing time.

Hmmmmmmmmm....I don't know if you have added this little postscript to get people's collective back up or try to garner attention for yourself.  This little campaign of your's, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting.  Far too many have put in too many hours and work into their char's equipment and weaponry, it is one of the reasons why this MUD stands out, another nice little hook to bring in people, or should.  if it is doable codewise, to have hease perhaps add more sockets to the spoils or quest shop equipment and weapons to socket moxes, to give them more punch and tide a char over until they are able toget the required tokens to code the customs.  This is NOT a place for the lazy or those looking for instant gratification.  Lose the plug, you aren't doing yourself any favours.
