Custom equipment and invisibility

Alright, so here's a thought.
Is it possible to change the visible and vanish commands to include custom equipment with added invisibility?
It's immensely annoying to have to remove equipment every time I visit a shopkeeper.

Oh, and does invisibility added to custom equipment stack?
